• Veneers are thin custom-made shells designed to cover the front side of teeth. Made of tooth-colored materials, veneers are used to treat spaces between teeth and teeth that are chipped or worn, permanently stained, poorly shaped or slightly crooked.
• Braces are not just for kids. Orthodontics may be needed if teeth are crooked, crowded or do not meet properly. If your dentist thinks you should see a specialist for treatment, he or she will refer you to an orthodontist.

Dr. Bruce M. Shaw and Dr. Mauricio C. Tijerino, of the Shaw Center for Dental Excellence in Miami Beach, are proud to announce the addition of a new associate, Dr. Tracy Shaw, to their team. “We are happy to have her as part of our team. She will be an asset to this community; she is caring, knowledgeable, and very gentle with her patients,” says Dr. Bruce Shaw.

The Shaw Center for Dental Excellence is renowned for their high-tech and friendly approach to dentistry. Dr. Tracy C. Shaw will be a perfect fit in the practice. After completing her undergraduate studies at University of Florida, Dr. Tracy C. Shaw received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She completed her General Practice Residency at the highly acclaimed Coler-Goldwater Specialty Care Hospital in New York, NY.

The Shaw Center for Dental Excellence is located at 1111 Lincoln Road, Suite 740, in Miami Beach, FL.
